Business Development Manager
I’m currently recruiting for an innovative space technology company that is expanding its commercial team and looking for an experienced Business Development Manager.
The company develops and delivers space-based technology solutions to organisations across a range of industries. This is an opportunity to join a growing business where you’ll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing customer relationships and expanding the company’s presence within new markets.
The Opportunity
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building relationships with customers across the infrastructure and utilities sectors.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who have existing experience within infrastructure and/or utilities and understand how these organisations operate, the challenges they face and the types of solutions they require. Your industry knowledge will be important in identifying potential customers, understanding their requirements and introducing relevant space technology solutions that can address their business needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
