National Business Development Manager

National Business Development Manager opportunity within a growing specialist manufacturer

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving demand and specification activity across the UK and Ireland for a range of modular, pre-fabricated off-site solutions used within cable management and metal extrusion applications. Working in a predominantly field-based capacity, you will engage with major M&E contractors, consultants, estimators, procurement teams and site stakeholders to secure product specification on large-scale projects across sectors including data centres, rail infrastructure, tunnels, pharmaceutical facilities, mechanical services, HVAC and nuclear applications. Once specified, you will work closely with distribution partners and internal teams to convert opportunities into revenue and support project delivery.

Location

National role covering the UK and Ireland, with approximately eight weeks per year in Ireland. Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK and should be comfortable with regular travel.


Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales or business development experience within cable management, conduits, modular systems or a related electrical/M&E product sector
  • Experience engaging with contractors, consultants or specification-led sales environments
  • Commercially focused, proactive and capable of developing new business opportunities
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK driving licence

  • £60,000-£65,000 basic salary
