Covent Garden, London | Hybrid | £35,000–£45,000. £55,000–£70,000 OTE

About Alchemis

Alchemis is a leading New Business Development Consultancy specialising in the marketing, creative and communications sectors. Based in London’s West End, our team of around 20 people works with exciting agencies across the UK and internationally, helping them build meaningful relationships and generate high-quality new business opportunities. We’re growing, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded New Business Account Manager to join our team in Covent Garden. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week working from home.

What will you be doing?

As a New Business Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of approximately 4–5 agency clients, acting as a trusted partner in their business development activity. Your role will include:

  • Managing and developing your own portfolio of agency clients
  • Working closely with clients to understand their ambitions and develop effective new business strategies
  • Identifying and engaging with relevant marketing and business decision-makers
  • Generating high-quality new business opportunities and arranging meetings for your clients
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with client contacts
  • Regularly reviewing campaigns, activity and results with your clients
  • Taking responsibility for the quality and quantity of new business opportunities generated
  • Continuously refining your approach to maximise campaign performance and client results

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who is confident, commercially minded and genuinely enjoys talking to people. You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in an outbound sales or business development role
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Confidence communicating with decision-makers and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive, accountable approach to your own performance
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and develop strong client relationships
  • A positive, resilient and energetic personality
  • Genuine enjoyment of engaging with and helping people
  • The adaptability and curiosity to learn about new industries, markets and businesses
  • Most importantly, you’ll be someone who takes pride in what they do, enjoys being part of a team and wants the opportunity to develop and progress.
