Join a Family Business with Big Ambitions

Brewster Brothers is not a large corporate business and we are proud of that.

We are a family-owned business built on strong values, long-term relationships, trust and teamwork.

When you join Brewster Brothers, you become part of a close-knit team where your ideas are listened to, your contribution is visible, and your success has a direct impact on the future growth of the business.

At the same time, we are far from a traditional family business. We are ambitious, growth-focused and continually investing in our people, technology and facilities. We are recognised as one of Scotland's leading producers of recycled aggregates and are passionate advocates of the circular economy. Through innovation and investment, we transform construction waste into high-quality certified recycled products that help our customers reduce costs whilst supporting a more sustainable future.

As we continue to grow, we are now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of our commercial development.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Commercial and Operations Director, you will play a key part in identifying new opportunities, winning new customers, growing existing accounts and helping shape the future commercial direction of Brewster Brothers.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, opening doors, identifying opportunities and creating sustainable business growth as well as chasing short-term sales targets.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to become a key contributor to our future success.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • You will identify and develop new commercial opportunities across the Central Belt of Scotland, working with customers in sectors including construction, civil engineering, housebuilding, demolition, infrastructure, utilities and groundworks.
  • You will build strong relationships with both new and existing customers, creating long-term partnerships that generate sustainable revenue growth.
  • You will promote Brewster Brothers' recycled aggregates and waste management solutions, demonstrating the commercial and environmental benefits our products and services deliver.
  • You will work with operational teams to ensure customer requirements can be delivered efficiently and profitably.
  • You will maintain an active sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasting, identify emerging market opportunities and share valuable market intelligence with the Commercial and Operations Director.
  • You will champion excellent customer service, account retention and customer satisfaction, ensuring Brewster Brothers continues to be recognised as a trusted partner within the industry.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
