About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a field-based Business Development Manager, reporting to the Head of Business Development, to join our Air & Ocean Freight sales team. This hunter-focused role involves securing new business and developing key accounts in the SME and mid-market space.
Your mission:
- Ahead of CEVA’s growth strategy, identify, target, and win air and ocean freight opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
- Partner with operational and solutions teams to build sustainable, long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactive Sales Leadership
- Proactively identify and pursue new air and ocean freight business using a consultative, solutions-driven sales approach.
- Create and manage a strong pipeline via strategic account planning and targeted prospecting.

- Develop compelling value propositions for senior decision-makers.
- Drive RFQs and tender processes, from opportunity to implementation.

- Work with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored customer solutions.

Existing Business Revenue Growth
- Expand and retain the current book of business to maximize long-term revenue and customer value.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

Proven new business sales career in air and ocean freight, with deep knowledge of:
- International freight solutions and pricing structures
- Trade lanes and route optimisation
- Crafting bespoke value propositions
