Business development

The role primarily supports the real estate and projects and finance practice groups (PGs) and reports into the Head of Business Development.

The BD and marketing team comprises the following teams: client development, events, practice group BD (PGBD), brand and online marketing, and communications and PR. This role sits within the London PGBD team but will require the candidate to work collaboratively across internal BD teams and with BD team members in our international offices.

This role will be supported by a dedicated Business Development Executive.

Finance practice group

You will be supporting a specialist finance team with expertise across a wide range of areas, including leveraged finance, real estate finance, funds and specialty finance, corporate lending, green and sustainable finance, Islamic finance, asset and equipment finance, trade and project finance, aviation finance, structured finance and derivatives, special situations, and debt restructuring. The finance team operates across our international offices in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Paris and Madrid, so you will be involved in supporting initiatives globally as needed.

Real estate, rail and projects (REP) practice group

You will be supporting the Real Estate transactional, Projects, Construction transactional, and Rail group, which is primarily based in the London office but maintains strong connections with our international teams. Our real estate team advises on investment acquisitions and disposals, development projects, sale and leasebacks, and other real estate structures, as well as landlord and tenant matters, including relocations and lettings. The planning team also sits within the real estate group and is actively involved in BD initiatives and coordinated client targeting. The projects group has a long history of working on major infrastructure projects both in the UK and internationally, advising across virtually every infrastructure sector, including transport, energy, and accommodation. This group also includes the construction transactional team, enabling greater collaboration and creating areas of overlap for clients. You will also be supporting the Rail team, which is part of the REP practice group and also sits within one of our core sectors, Transportation and Trade. The rail team are recognised specialists in their field and are actively involved in key strategic initiatives, driving thought leadership within the rail industry.
