About Us: Original BTC is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality lighting, celebrated for craftsmanship, heritage, and innovative design. With a strong British heritage and an expanding global presence, we are looking to continue our growth across key markets.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive our sales growth in the UK and abroad. This role will be key in strengthening our brand presence and building long-term relationships with key partners, interior designers, and architects in these markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market and a proven track record in driving business development and sales in the interiors industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UK and abroad.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key interior designers and architects.

Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Achieve sales targets through proactive client engagement and the development of new business relationships.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to drive growth in each market.
  • Manage sales pipelines and forecast sales growth opportunities.

Brand Positioning:

  • Ensure Original BTC’s brand values of craftsmanship, heritage, and innovative design are communicated effectively across target markets.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create region-specific campaigns and initiatives to boost brand awareness and bring further sales growth.

Client Management:

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct regular meetings with key partners, interior designers, and architects to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the design or lighting industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the design and retail landscape.
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
