Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a part-time or full-time, work-from-home role. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, leading to building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promoting Hughes Hub’s energy, telecoms, and payment comparison services. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and creating leads, booking meetings, and driving growth. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to refine offerings, gather market feedback, and ensure a high-quality customer experience. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, preparing sales pipeline, forecasting, and contributing to strategic planning for business expansion.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within energy, telecoms, financial services, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and stakeholder management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyse data, and identify growth opportunities, combined with sound commercial and financial awareness.
- Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, including confidence in delivering presentations and proposals.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with competency in CRM systems and standard office software.
- Collaborative mindset and capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
