Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in growing Octane Capital’s Bridging, Refurbishment and Developer Exit lending by building trusted, long‑term relationships with brokers. Rather than being desk‑bound, you’ll have the autonomy to manage a defined sales region, spend time in the field, and work directly with introducers to structure complex property finance transactions.

You’ll be part of a high‑performing, collaborative sales team and work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Managing Director (Sales), in a fast‑paced and entrepreneurial environment where your impact will be visible and valued.

What will your day look like?

  • Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of broker partners within your assigned region
  • Working directly with introducers to assess and structure complex lending cases in line with credit policy
  • Planning and maintaining a strategic diary of broker meetings and appointments
  • Identifying and developing new sources of business from inbound enquiries, broker registrations, existing relationships, and market activity
  • Maximising bridging and property finance opportunities by understanding broker needs and Octane Capital’s competitive strengths
  • Achieving agreed quarterly and annual lending targets across relevant lending divisions
  • Attending and presenting at industry events, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops as required
  • Recording broker interactions and activity accurately on the CRM system and providing progress updates as needed
