Tego Group is building a global ancillary-products business across travel, hospitality and ticketing.

We partner with travel platforms, OTAs, airlines, hotel groups and ticketing businesses to embed products that create new revenue and improve the customer proposition.

We’re already working with some of the biggest names in travel. Now we want to scale.

That means more markets, more products and much bigger partnerships.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who wants to help build that growth, and be rewarded properly for it.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine full-cycle new-business role.

  • You will find the opportunities, open the doors, run the conversations, negotiate the commercials and close the deals.
  • You won’t be sitting around waiting for marketing-qualified leads.
  • You’ll be targeting businesses where a single partnership can be worth tens or hundreds of thousands of pounds in monthly revenue.
  • That changes the economics of the role.
  • A couple of genuinely big wins can transform your year, and your earnings.

You’ll work directly with Tego’s founders on major opportunities, have significant freedom over how you build your pipeline and play an important role in deciding where we go next.

What You’ll Own

  • Building your own pipeline of high-value prospects.
  • Identifying and opening strategic accounts.
  • Getting in front of senior commercial decision-makers.
  • Running demos and commercial discussions.
  • Building the business case for working with Tego.
  • Negotiating commercial structures and partnership agreements.
  • Taking opportunities from first contact through to signed deal.
  • Working with product and technology teams to get partnerships live.
  • Growing accounts into additional products, markets and revenue streams.
  • Helping shape Tego’s wider commercial strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is not a narrow sales role. We want someone who thinks commercially, spots opportunities and takes ownership of making them happen.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need a perfect CV.

You do need to be able to generate business.

You’ll probably have experience in business development, partnerships, SaaS, travel technology, fintech, ecommerce or another B2B environment.

More importantly, you should be someone who:

  • Is comfortable creating opportunities from nothing.
  • Can confidently approach senior decision-makers.
  • Understands how to sell on commercial value rather than features.
  • Can talk comfortably about revenue, margin and deal structure.
  • Knows how to keep momentum through longer sales cycles.
  • Is persistent, commercially aware and highly self-directed.
  • Can manage a deal from first conversation to signature.
  • Wants responsibility rather than layers of management.

Travel-industry experience is useful. Being commercially excellent matters more.

The Earning Potential

Commission is uncapped.

And because of the size of the partnerships we pursue, the upside can be significant.

You won’t need dozens of small wins to have a great year. One or two major deals can be enough to double your income.

There is no artificial ceiling placed on someone who consistently brings significant revenue into the business.

If you create exceptional value for Tego, we want you to participate meaningfully in it.

Where This Can Go

We are still early enough that joining now means helping build the commercial organisation rather than simply joining one.

Our next phase includes:

  • North America.
  • Middle East.
  • APAC.
  • More products.
  • Bigger enterprise partnerships.

We expect strong performers to grow with that.

That could mean taking ownership of a market, building a team, leading a region or moving into a senior commercial leadership position.

We’re not hiring someone simply to fill a BDM seat.

We’re looking for someone who could become a major part of the commercial side of Tego.

What We’re Building

Tego today is an ancillary-products business.

Where we are heading is broader.

Technology is a big part of where Tego is heading. We’re investing heavily in AI, automation and data to help us scale faster, operate smarter and build better products for our partners.

The people joining now will help shape that business.

How We Work

The role is remote within the UK, and we care about performance rather than presenteeism.

If you are delivering, building pipeline and winning business, you’ll have considerable autonomy over how and where you work.

We also actively encourage face-to-face business development. Where it makes commercial sense, we want our team travelling to meet prospective partners, build relationships in person and move important opportunities forward.

You’ll also have the opportunity to attend industry conferences in the UK and internationally, both to develop existing opportunities and create new ones.

As Tego expands into new markets, there will be further opportunities for international travel and to help build relationships on the ground.

This Role Will Suit You If...

  • You want ownership.
  • You want to work directly with founders.
  • You want to chase large deals rather than grind through hundreds of small transactions.
  • You want your earnings to reflect the value you create.
  • And you want to join a company while there is still enough left to build that you can genuinely influence what it becomes.
