Business Development Manager — SSON Research & Analytics

Location: London, Hybrid 2 days office (Victoria) 3 days work from home

Reports to: Sales Director

Employment Type: Full-Time

Market: Global, with a primary focus on the US

Compensation: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission with significant earning potential and benefits

Growth Opportunity

SSON Research & Analytics is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help build and accelerate our growth across global markets, with a particular focus on the US market.

This is a unique opportunity to join a market-leading global brand, work directly with our Sales Director, and take ownership of a high-potential international market. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with senior executives, demonstrating our industry-leading research and analytics platform, and closing new business across a diverse range of global organizations.

While the US will be a key area of focus, you will also have the opportunity to engage with prospects and clients across international markets, giving you exposure to a truly global customer base.

Importantly, you'll have the opportunity to build and develop new markets, rather than simply inherit an established book of accounts. You'll have significant ownership over your territory, sales strategy, pipeline development, and commercial results.

If you're an ambitious sales professional who wants greater ownership, greater earning potential, international exposure, and a clear path for career growth, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Why SSON?

SSON is the #1 global community for Shared Services and Global Business Services professionals. For more than 20 years, the Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON) has been the leading source of information, insight, research, events, and networking for executives responsible for transforming business operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
