Business Development Manager

Power Electronics | Technical Sales

Location: Remote | Salary: Competitive + Bonus | Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established and growing technical engineering business specialising in power electronics, power supplies, power conversion, and energy solutions.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, develop strategic customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, OEMs, and distribution partners
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to contract negotiation and close
  • Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for further growth
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand customer requirements and deliver appropriate solutions
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events

Required Skills and Experience

  • The successful candidate will have a proven background in B2B business development or technical sales, ideally within a technical or engineering environment.
  • Experience in power electronics, power supplies, electrical/electronic components, industrial automation, energy storage, or renewable energy would be highly advantageous.
  • You will be commercially focused, confident engaging with technical and senior stakeholders, and have a strong track record of developing new business and building long-term customer relationships.
