Using PowerEPOS, we supply point of sale and back-office technology to hospitality businesses. The company operates globally with continuous developments and innovative integrations and partnerships, employing an experienced and dedicated team who service over 1100 customers globally.
A look into the role…
To support our continued growth within the GB market, we are recruiting for a new field-based Business Development Manager.
The successful candidates will have full autonomy to expand our customer base in a largely untapped region, supported by our operations team in Northern Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business on a strong growth trajectory, where your contributions as a Business Development Manager will directly shape the success of the region and the wider business. Supported by operations teams in both Ireland and GB, you'll work with all areas of the hospitality market including cafes, restaurants, hotels, bars and much more, to introduce a broad suite of services that support hospitality performance and drive growth.

The successful candidate will be a skilled negotiator, able to understand customer needs, manage multiple sales opportunities, and close deals within deadlines. Additionally, they will be capable of providing live demos.
Working as Business Development Manager you will:
- Generate new leads and develop new business making cold calls
- Account Manage a strong existing client database.
- Demonstrate capabilities of PowerEpos.
- Develop and execute a sales plan that provides complete territory coverage.
- Attend, exhibit and present at events in line with Power EPOS partnerships.
- Grow business within partnerships currently in place
Skills for Success
Joining us as Business Development Manager the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
- Proven field based Business-To-Business sales experience within hospitality or a related environment
- A track record of developing sales regions
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape
- Full valid UK/EU Driving license

- A consultative, relationship led sales style
- A long term mindset, integrity and the drive to contribute meaningfully to a growing business

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
