Business Development Manager – PPE
Location – 2 roles available covering Midlands/ North
We have an exciting opportunity here at RS for ambitious individuals to join our award-winning innovative company as a Business Development Manager. This is a new role that will support the growth of our PPE offering to our wider client base, working closely with not only our Safety Solutions business but also with our UK and Ireland account management team.

A little about what you will be doing in this position…
This role will combine your expertise within PPE, account development and sales
- Working with our existing client base optimising the use of PPE and managing a pipeline of PPE opportunities.
- Being a subject matter expert within the PPE space and allocated territory.
- Identifying development opportunities as well new business opportunities.
- Supporting a regional territory and mapping effectively alongside our Key account managers/corporate account managers and industry specialist.
- Research target sectors, and product ranges with the objective of adding new opportunities to the pipeline.
- Working seamlessly with colleagues and suppliers to best support the role.
- Collaborating with PPE suppliers enabling us to bring innovation to our customers.

- Strong knowledge of the PPE market and product ranges, across multiple sectors.
- Experience developing existing business through value-add solutions (PPE) and identifying new business opportunities.
- Experience working collaboratively within a sales environment.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- As this role is supporting a specific, territory travel will form part of this position.
