About the opportunity

Are you passionate about property, commercially driven and motivated by helping others succeed? We're looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our growing property franchise network.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves property, enjoys developing people and has the drive to make a genuine difference to the success of others.

Working closely with our Head of Franchise Development & Performance, you'll play a key role in supporting, coaching and developing our franchisees, helping them build their property knowledge, identify opportunities and grow successful, profitable property businesses.

This isn't a traditional business development role focused solely on generating new sales. It's about building relationships, unlocking potential and helping our franchisees turn their ambitions into measurable results.

We're looking for someone who brings energy, ideas, commercial awareness and genuine enthusiasm for the property industry.

What you'll be doing

Franchisee coaching and development

  • Build strong, productive relationships with franchisees, acting as a trusted business development partner.
  • Provide regular coaching, mentoring and practical support to help franchisees develop their property knowledge, confidence and commercial capabilities.
  • Help franchisees identify property opportunities, overcome challenges and develop strategies to grow their businesses.
  • Deliver structured business development sessions, performance reviews and ongoing guidance.
  • Support franchisees at different stages of their journey, from those starting out to more established operators.

Business growth and performance

  • Work with franchisees to develop clear business plans, objectives and growth strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to increase franchisee activity, revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor performance against agreed targets and provide proactive support where improvements are needed.
  • Encourage accountability, consistency and a results-driven approach across the network.
  • Share best practices, successful strategies and commercial opportunities between franchisees.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience we're interested in

We recognise that the right candidate could come from several different backgrounds.

Experience in the following areas would be particularly valuable:

  • Property investment, property sourcing, estate agency or lettings.
  • Property education, training, mentoring or coaching.
  • Business development, account management or franchise support.
  • Supporting business owners, entrepreneurs or individuals in developing their businesses.
  • Delivering commercial training, workshops or business development programmes.
  • Managing client relationships and working towards commercial performance targets.

Previous property experience would be a significant advantage, particularly when combined with coaching, training or business development experience.

However, we're equally interested in finding someone with the right personality, commercial instincts and enthusiasm to make a real impact.

For us, attitude, ambition and a genuine passion for helping others succeed are just as important as experience.
