We offer a unique package of services that make residential property a passive investment for our clients. With a presence in Birmingham, Manchester, London, and Liverpool and Leeds, we can manage properties across the UK.
Job Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Business Development Manager at Prime Residential based in Birmingham. The Business Development Manager drives growth in the lettings portfolio by identifying new landlord opportunities, strengthening relationships, and expanding the agency's market presence. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-sufficient and driven individual, providing the autonomy to manage and develop the Birmingham portfolio, with the longer-term opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team.

Duties include:

New Landlord Acquisition
- Generate new instructions through inbound lead, prospecting, and networking
- Conduct valuations to secure landlord
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential landlords.

Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with private landlords, portfolio landlords, and corporate clients
- Provide ongoing support and advice to landlords on pricing, compliance, and market conditions
- Handle objections and negotiate terms to secure management agreements

Lettings Negotiations
- Handle enquiries from prospective tenants through to move in
- Conduct property viewings, inventories, and checkouts
- Tenant referencing

Market Research & Strategy
- Monitor local rental trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Build connections with landlord developers and other referrals

- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Prime Residential Business Development and Property Management Team.
Skills & experience required for the role
- Ability to work independently
- Strong experience within the lettings sector, coupled with in-depth knowledge of the Birmingham rental market
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
