About Pyxel
Pyxel is the all-in-one vehicle merchandising platform for UK dealers, combining photography, branded video, 360° tours, customer video & chat, and dealer reporting in a single, fully integrated solution.
Our guided-capture workflow, AI-assisted editing and auto-scaling ensure every vehicle looks its best, every time — helping dealers get stock online faster, present it more consistently, and generate more leads and sales, at a lower cost than traditional providers.
As we grow our presence across the UK, we're looking for a driven, relationship-led Business Development Manager to lead new business growth across the franchised network and independent dealer sectors.
The Role
As BDM, you'll own new business development for Pyxel across the UK, building a strong pipeline of franchised dealer groups and independent dealers and converting it into signed, onboarded customers. This is a field-based, quota-carrying role covering the whole of the UK market — you'll be out meeting dealers, presenting the platform, and building the relationships that drive Pyxel's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and win new business across both franchised dealer networks and independent dealers, nationally.
- Build and manage a robust, accurately forecast sales pipeline from first contact through to close.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations — in person and virtual — showcasing Pyxel's photography, video, 360° and reporting capabilities.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers, including dealer principals, general managers, and marketing/digital leads, as well as relevant OEM and dealer group contacts.
- Represent Pyxel at industry events, dealer group meetings and exhibitions across the UK.
- Work closely with the wider Pyxel team to ensure a smooth handover from sale through to onboarding and go-live.
- Keep CRM records (pipeline, activity, forecasting) accurate and up to date.
- Feed market and competitor intelligence back into the business to help shape sales strategy and positioning.
- Consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue targets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- A self-starter who can manage their own diary and territory, and who thrives working remotely and independently.
