Business Development Executive (Out of Home - OOH Channel)
About the Role

Are you a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual ready to lead the growth of our presence in the exciting Out of Home (OOH) channel?
We’re seeking a Business Development Executive to own a blank canvas territory—bringing energy, initiative, and commercial drive to build success from scratch.
Oh, and here’s the scoop:
- Full-time, Permanent role
- Salary: £27,000–£30,000 per annum (£32,000–£36,000 on target earnings)*, with a company car
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hrs per week
*This is a unique opportunity to represent a leading confectionery brand in the OOH sector (leisure, healthcare, education, workplace, and defence), where every decision could shape new growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify & secure new business opportunities across five key OOH sectors:
- Leisure (e.g. soft play centres, theme parks)
- Healthcare & education (universities, hospitals)
- Workplace (canteens, contract caterers)
- Defence

Pitch live opportunities by visiting sites and tailoring solutions like:
- Countertop units
- Point-of-sale (POS) displays
- Merchandising support
- Product demonstrations

Launch & activate seasonal campaigns (e.g. Freshers’ events, sampling concerts)

Leverage data & insights to optimise visibility, availability, and placement timing

Balance prospecting with client meetings whilst recording all interactions digitally (tablet-driven records + Excel tracking)

What We’re Looking For
- A self-starter with the tenacity to reach targets—no stone goes unturned!
- Expert organisational skills: Manage diary, client contacts, and sales pipeline effectively.
- Proven sales experience in OOH, distribution, or foodservice (not mandatory, but a strong advantage).
- Tech-savviness—fluent in Excel, Google Sheets, email, and tablets for capturing data.
- Full UK manual driving licence with at least one year of experience.
