Business Development Manager – Construction Site Security

£40,000 basic salary + uncapped commission (OTE circa £52,000)
Car or Car Allowance
United Kingdom – field-based with regular regional travel

Company Overview

A growing national provider of CCTV, site security, access control, and sustainable power solutions is expanding its field-sales team. The successful Business Development Manager will identify construction projects and vacant sites/property requiring security solutions to bring on new clients and develop a profitable regional territory.

The business supplies hire, managed-service, and purchase solutions across construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure. Its portfolio includes temporary CCTV, remote monitoring, access control, guarding, solar lighting, and hybrid power equipment, supported by established operational and engineering teams.

Job Overview

The Business Development Manager will take ownership of new-business development across an agreed territory, reporting to the UK Sales Manager. The role combines project research, site prospecting, customer meetings, quotations, and account development.

Success will be measured through site activity, new contracts, repeat business, and progression towards a monthly revenue target following the initial training period.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
