Business Development Manager - Midlands Territory
£35,000-£40,000 basic with minimum OTE £50,000 + company car
This is a field-based role with genuine commercial scope. You will own customer relationships across the territory, grow sales of exclusive tyre brands and have the backing of an experienced telesales team.
The business has scale, a strong delivery network and products with real market traction. You will have the freedom to build your patch properly, without being left to figure everything out alone.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and develop customer relationships across the West Midlands, covering independent tyre retailers, car dealerships and other trade accounts.
- Grow sales of the business’s house and exclusive brands while strengthening and expanding the dealer network.
- Work closely with telesales to resolve customer issues, identify opportunities and keep promotions and reward programmes moving.
- Use the CRM properly, maintain clear call reporting and represent the business at customer and company events when required.

What You’ll Need to Bring
- A proven record of developing commercial customer relationships and delivering against sales targets.
- Strong field sales habits, clear communication and the confidence to present products and proposals credibly.
- A practical, customer-focused approach with the discipline to manage your territory and priorities independently.
- Automotive or tyre sector experience is useful, not essential. More important is the ability to learn the range and turn product knowledge into sales.
