Locai is an inference orchestration platform
We help organisations run AI workloads across on-device, private and cloud models with a single endpoint, and route each request to the right place based on cost, latency and data sensitivity.
We were founded in May 2025, we're a small team based at Tramshed Tech in Cardiff, and we sell to enterprise and public-sector customers in the UK. We closed an oversubscribed pre-seed round in March 2026, another follow on round this Summer, and have paying customers in regulated industries.
This is our first dedicated sales hire. You'll build the pipeline from the ground up, working directly with the CEO, with full ownership of your accounts from first contact to signature.

What you'll do
- Source and qualify new enterprise and public-sector opportunities through outbound, events and inbound follow-up
- Run discovery and sell our paid scoping engagements as the entry point into larger platform deals
- Manage a small number of complex, multi-month deals through procurement to close
- Work with the founders on technical validation and proposals
- Build the outbound process, CRM hygiene and reporting that the next sales hire will inherit
What we're looking for
- Five or more years in B2B SaaS sales, with a track record of closing new-logo deals in the £30k–£150k range
- Comfortable selling technical infrastructure to CTOs, heads of data and IT leaders, and learning enough to hold your own
- Experience with long procurement cycles (public sector or regulated industry a plus)
- Self-directed. You've built pipeline from nothing before and know what the first six months look like
- Able to travel regularly/as needed.

How you're paid
- £50,000 base salary
- 20% commission on new ARR you close, rising to 25% above target. No cap. Hit target and you earn £110,000; beat it and there's no ceiling
- Additional commission on scoping engagements and account expansion
- Guaranteed commission for your first three months while you build pipeline
- EMI share options with standard three-year vesting
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, pension, hybrid working
