We're delighted to be supporting a leading provider of electrical, infrastructure and supply chain solutions in the search for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK Rail sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially focused sales professional with an established network within the rail industry. We're particularly keen to speak with candidates based in Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool or Nottingham, who can leverage their market knowledge and industry relationships to develop new business opportunities across Central England.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing strategic customer relationships and promoting a range of electrical, wire & cable, security and supply chain solutions to contractors, integrators and infrastructure organisations operating within the rail sector.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in expanding the company's presence within the rail infrastructure market by identifying and securing new business opportunities while developing existing accounts.

  • Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will demonstrate the value of both product solutions and broader supply chain services, helping clients improve efficiency, reduce costs and streamline procurement processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
