About the Role

Within ten years, Wahoo Learning intends to be a £12M to £18M business and the global leader in turning underperforming channel ecosystems into high-growth partner networks. The route there runs from £2.2M today to £4M inside three years and £6M to £9M inside five. One thing stands between us and that: a consistent, predictable pipeline of new business. That is why this role exists, and it is the most important hire we will make this year.

  • Monthly visit to our Somerset office
  • Genuine ownership of new business growth
  • Direct access to the Head of Growth and senior leadership
  • Opportunity to influence our growth strategy and proposition
  • Private medical insurance including dental and optical
  • Company pension
  • 31 days' annual leave including bank holidays
  • Training and dedicated personal development time

About the Opportunity

Wahoo Learning is an established learning and channel-enablement business with more than 20 years' experience helping organisations train, engage and grow their partner networks across the UK and US.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are now looking for an experienced New Business Development Manager to build and grow our new-business pipeline.

This is a genuine hunter role. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with senior decision-makers and taking opportunities through the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through to proposal, negotiation and close.

  • Build your own pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals and targeted outreach
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from first conversation through to close
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders within complex organisations
  • Work closely with Marketing and Delivery to develop opportunities and proposals
  • Maintain accurate pipeline information and provide reliable weekly forecasts
  • Consistently deliver against agreed new-business targets

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced B2B new-business sales professional who can demonstrate a track record of winning new clients.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong experience in new-logo B2B sales
  • Evidence of consistently achieving sales targets
  • Experience generating your own pipeline rather than relying solely on inbound leads
  • Full-cycle sales experience from prospecting to close
  • Experience selling into mid-market
  • Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent pipeline management and forecasting discipline
  • A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach
