Business Development Manager - Managed IT & Technology Solutions
Location: South Wales (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission
The Opportunity
Our client is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) offering Managed IT Services, Cyber Security, Telecoms, and Managed Print solutions to businesses across the UK.
They are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join their sales team, responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
This is a consultative sales role focused on understanding customer challenges, building long-term relationships, and delivering tailored technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract close.
- Conduct discovery meetings with business owners and decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities across Managed IT, Cyber Security, Telecoms, and Managed Print.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Work closely with technical teams to develop tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.

About You
- Proven B2B sales experience.
- Strong new business development skills.
- Experience managing the full sales process.
- Consultative and relationship-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and target-driven.
- Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers.

Experience within MSP, IT Services, Telecoms, Cyber Security, or Technology Solutions would be beneficial, although candidates from other B2B sales backgrounds will also be considered.
