Strategic Partnership Manager – Wound Care
Circa £65,000 + performance-related commission + company car/car allowance
South West / South Central | Field Based
Are you an experienced healthcare sales or business development professional with a strong background in wound care, medical devices, consumables or a closely related healthcare market?
Are you ready for a role where you can take ownership of a territory, build senior NHS relationships and have a genuine impact on commercial growth? This could be an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level.
We are working with an established healthcare organisation that is looking for a Strategic Partnership Manager to develop and grow its presence within the wound care market.
This is not a transactional sales role. You'll be working strategically with NHS organisations, developing relationships with senior clinical and procurement stakeholders and identifying opportunities where the right clinical and commercial solution can deliver genuine value.
Why consider the role?
- You'll have the autonomy to own your territory and shape your approach, from identifying new opportunities through to developing strategic partnerships and growing existing accounts.
- You'll work with senior stakeholders across acute and community healthcare, including clinical leaders, procurement teams, ICB stakeholders, medicines management and other key decision-makers.
- You'll also have the opportunity to influence how customers adopt products and solutions, supporting formulary and pathway discussions and demonstrating both clinical and economic value.
- For someone who understands the wound care market and enjoys combining clinical credibility, consultative selling and commercial strategy, this is a role where you can really make your mark.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
