🌍 Business Development Manager – Flexible Packaging (UK)

A well-established UK flexible packaging manufacturer is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK. With an established manufacturing operation and a broad range of flexible packaging solutions, the business is looking to further expand its presence within the food processing, meat & poultry and Food-to-Go markets.

This is a 100% new business role, offering the opportunity to identify, target and win new customers across the UK. You will have a high level of autonomy to develop your territory, build a strong pipeline and secure long-term strategic accounts.

🔹 What they’re looking for:

  • Proven track record in new business development within flexible packaging
  • Strong knowledge of polythene, films, bags and flexible packaging solutions
  • Experience selling into food processing, meat & poultry, Food-to-Go and wider food manufacturing markets
  • Strong understanding of customers' packaging requirements and the ability to sell on quality, service, technical capability and value
  • A genuine hunter mentality with a demonstrable track record of opening doors and winning new accounts
  • Self-motivated and comfortable operating autonomously across a national territory
