About The Role
Business Development Manager - Health & Life Sciences - NIHR Exeter Biomedical Research Centre (BRC)
This full-time post is available immediately until the 31st March 2028. Applications for secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.
The starting salary will be from £43,482 on Grade F, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
The Business Development Manager – Health and Life Sciences NIHR Exeter BRC role leads on the development of collaborations with industry, organisations and government partners. The post holder will play a proactive, outward-facing role focused on identifying, influencing and converting external partners into funded projects and longer-term relationships. The role requires a strong sales and marketing mindset, with responsibility for building a visible pipeline of commercial and collaborative opportunities aligned to BRC priorities. They will work closely with the Business Engagement and Innovation (BE&I) NIHR BRC team including the Associate Director for BE&I, the Professors in Practice (PiPs) and Experts in Residence (XiRs).
