Business Development Manager
Location: Belgravia, London
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000, plus a generous commission and bonus structure
Contract: Full-time
About Regent FM
Regent FM is a rapidly growing security and facilities management company with an established portfolio of contracts and long-standing client partnerships across London and the wider UK.
With several exciting opportunities on the horizon, we are looking for an experienced and well-connected Business Development Manager to support the next stage of our growth.
This is a senior commercial role for someone who understands the security industry, knows how to build genuine business relationships and has the confidence and connections to bring new opportunities into the company.
The Role
Based from our office in Belgravia, you will work closely with our Director of Operations and Managing Director to identify, develop and secure new business.
You will take ownership of the business development pipeline, from initial introductions and relationship-building through to proposals, presentations, negotiations and contract award. You will also work alongside our operational team to ensure that new opportunities are commercially viable and can be delivered to the high standards expected by our clients.
The successful candidate will be joining Regent FM at an exciting point in our development, with the opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping our growth and expanding our presence across London and the UK.

- Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the security and facilities management sectors
- Using your existing professional network to generate introductions, meetings and qualified opportunities
- Building strong relationships with property managers, managing agents, facilities management providers, developers and corporate clients
- Developing a healthy and sustainable sales pipeline
- Attending client meetings, networking events, site visits and industry functions
- Preparing professional proposals, presentations and commercial submissions
- Supporting tender opportunities and working with the wider team to develop strong, competitive bids
- Negotiating commercial terms and supporting opportunities through to contract award
- Working closely with the Director of Operations and Managing Director on growth strategy
- Maintaining accurate records of leads, opportunities, progress and forecasts
- Supporting the smooth handover of new contracts to the operational team
- Representing Regent FM professionally and promoting our values, capabilities and service standards
About You
We are looking for someone with substantial security industry knowledge and a proven ability to win new business. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong business development experience within the security industry
- An established network of contacts across London and the wider UK
- A demonstrable track record of generating leads and securing new contracts
- A good understanding of manned guarding, mobile patrols, keyholding, alarm response and related security services
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand pricing, margins and operational requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- The confidence to engage with senior decision-makers and represent the company at a high level
- A relationship-led approach, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client partnerships
- The drive, initiative and organisation required to manage opportunities from first contact through to contract award
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with senior leadership and operational teams
- Experience within facilities management or complementary services would also be beneficial
