Business Development Manager Utility-Scale Solar PV | BESS | Repowering & Revamping

Location: United Kingdom

Seniority: Mid-Level to Senior
Sector: Renewable Energy | Energy Storage | Solar PV

About FIMER UK

FIMER UK is entering an exciting period of growth as we expand our activities across utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and repowering solutions.

Backed by a globally recognised power electronics platform and a growing UK presence, we are seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of our growth.

This is an opportunity for someone looking to move beyond a traditional sales role and become a key contributor to the development of the UK business, helping shape strategy, identify new opportunities and build long-term relationships across the renewable energy sector.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a commercially minded individual with experience in renewable energy who combines technical understanding with strong relationship-building skills.

The successful candidate will support and develop opportunities across the three core pillars of the UK business:

Utility-Scale Solar PV

  • Supporting developers, EPCs, IPPs and asset owners with industry-leading inverter solutions for large-scale solar projects.

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

  • Working with customers to develop energy storage opportunities across utility-scale, distributed and commercial applications.

Repowering & Revamping

  • Identifying opportunities to upgrade ageing solar assets and improve long-term performance, reliability and value for asset owners and investors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
