Innovative UK-based medical device company with award-winning surgical solutions

Rapidly growing presence across the NHS and internationally

Opportunity to lead sales in a high-potential territory

Market-leading product portfolio with real clinical impact

Strong team culture and excellent internal development

Company on track for continued and significant growth in the next 12 months!

The Company:

A rapidly growing UK-based distributor specialising in advanced surgical devices, including powered staplers, energy platforms, hernia meshes, and surgical banding solutions. Their innovative portfolio is trusted in operating theatres across the country, with products delivering measurable improvements in surgical precision, efficiency, and outcomes. With a dynamic, non-corporate culture, the company fosters autonomy, progression, and high performance.

The Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you'll take ownership of the lucrative Scotland territory, driving adoption of the full surgical portfolio across NHS and private hospitals. This is a consultative sales role with a strong clinical focus, requiring regular interaction with colorectal surgeons, gynaecologists, procurement teams, and theatre staff. You'll be responsible for growing existing accounts and securing new business, working closely with your clinical specialist colleagues to support in-theatre training, evaluations, and post-sale support. Success in this role will require persistence, relationship-building, and a strategic approach to stakeholder management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
