Business Development Manager
📍 North West England, UK | Hybrid & Travel Required
Transforming Support is a specialist supported living provider supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs across the UK. As we continue to expand across the North of England, we are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Business Development Manager who can help us identify opportunities, generate referrals, develop strategic relationships with commissioners, and support sustainable business growth.
This is not a desk-based account management role. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, opening doors, identifying opportunities and working with Local Authorities, Integrated Care Boards, Case Managers, Housing Partners and Commissioners to help people access high-quality supported living services.

What You Will Be Doing
- Generating referral pipelines across supported living and complex needs services
- Building strong relationships with Local Authority and ICB commissioners
- Identifying market opportunities and service development opportunities
- Supporting referrals from initial enquiry through to operational delivery
- Contributing to framework, tender and proposal opportunities
- Working closely with operational, quality and finance teams
- Managing pipeline activity, relationships and performance against agreed targets and KPIs

- Strategic Relationship Manager
- Growth Manager

You will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven business development success
- Strong lead generation capability
- Experience working with Local Authority and/or ICB commissioners
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and a focus on outcomes
- A values-led approach combined with a strong drive to achieve results
Experience within supported living, complex needs, social care or housing would be highly advantageous.
