We are looking for an experienced industrial Business Development Manager

With the ability and appetite to generate new business in this historically well performing territory. Based in the North of the UK and taking on a fruitful territory, this role will give you the chance to double your commission from year 1 to year 2 and will offer the right candidate a path to a more senior sales role.

BASIC SALARY: up to A GBP 50,000

A classic Business Development Manager role (80% new business and 20% account managing) selling a range of adhesive application systems with an AOV of circa A GBP 25,000 into the industrial and manufacturing market (90%) and the packaging market (10%).

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager : adhesives, industrial consumables : manufacturing

To succeed in this Territory Sales Manager role, you will be driven and ambitious with a keen sales mentality, you will ideally have a proven track record of selling a capital equipment type product into and industrial environment, the company will also consider someone from a service background who can demonstrate an ability to sell.

You Will Also Have

  • An engineering or technical background, any relevant qualifications will be a huge benefit as this is a solution-based sales environment.
  • Excellent understanding of how to map and run your own territory
  • The desire to grow into a more senior sales or Key Account Management role

Very well-established UK Sales and Service office for a manufacturer of adhesive application systems sold to the industrial and manufacturing AND packaging markets.

Joining an established team with an experienced Manager who has an impressive growth plan in place.
