Working collaboratively across sales, account management, product, marketing, operations, implementation and legal teams, the Business Development Manager will manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contract completion and handover.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a targeted business development plan for the BHN Benefits market.
  • Identify, research and prioritise prospective clients, partners and market opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, HR, reward, procurement and benefits decision-makers.

  • Support contract review, approvals, implementation planning and the successful handover of new clients.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor activity, regulatory changes and emerging trends in employee benefits.
  • Share market insight with product, marketing and leadership teams to inform proposition development and go-to-market planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of client engagement, opportunity progress, pricing and next steps.
  • Operate in line with BHN policies, processes, information-security requirements and commercial controls.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
