The Role - Business Development Manager

This opportunity is focused on growing demand for a leading range of metal framing systems used in cable management, including trays, ladders, baskets and fittings.

Covering the UK & Ireland, you will work closely with M&E contractors, estimators, procurement teams and site professionals to develop specifications, manage a healthy sales pipeline and support projects from enquiry through to order whereby you'll involve a regional sales team who will ensure it's sold through the right channel. You will also collaborate with M&E consultants to win specifications on new projects on an ongoing basis.

This role is purely targeting the Data Centre markets. This includes everything in the UK & Ireland.

The Location

Field-based across the UK & Ireland. The role involves extensive travel on the road.

Requirements

  • Experience selling into M&E contractors working on Data Centre projects
  • Background in electrical products or related technical solutions, ideally within cable management or associated markets
  • Strong relationship-building and business development skills with a proactive approach
  • Comfortable managing a sales pipeline and identifying new opportunities
  • Full UK driving licence required

The Package

  • £60,000-£65,000 basic salary
  • Annual bonus worth 20% of salary, with the opportunity to earn kickers
  • Electric company car (BMW 330e)
