Role Overview
This is a hands-on, self-starting new business role for someone who genuinely lives and breathes new business sales. You will own the full sales cycle end to end: generating your own leads, booking appointments, uncovering the opportunity, and driving it through to a close, then growing that account from its first order onward. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and proactive, comfortable building their own pipeline from a standing start, and driven by the buzz of winning new business rather than waiting for opportunities to come to them. This role covers everything from initial outreach through to first order and beyond, with a strong emphasis on delivering profitable, sustainable new business and building long-term account growth from day one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
