A successful and progressive Engineering Plastic Company and a leader in the production of close tolerance injection moulded components is looking for a Business Development Manager with technical sales experience to join the team.

They are based in Enfield, but you will cover an area south of the M4 all the way to Cornwall and clockwise around the M25 to Essex.

  • Commission of 2% of invoiced tooling business and 2% on component sales invoiced. (10:15k)
  • Car allowance GBP 750 pounds per month + 30p per mile or a company car

What You'll Be Doing As Business Development Manager

  • Selling the company's processes and services
  • Expanding the customer and market base both internationally and domestically
  • Arrange visits with new potential clients both in the UK and abroad
  • Increasing revenue and income within the strategic customer base
  • Create and maintain a database of potential customers
  • Arrange regular meetings with customers/potentials and circulate weekly activity list via your outlook diary
  • Preparation of quotes and review with the management team prior to forwarding to the customer
  • Attend exhibitions both internationally and domestically to look for new potential business
  • Negotiate price increases where necessary with customers professionally
  • Advise customers/potentials on any new process development the company can offer

What We're Looking For In a Business Development Manager

  • Must have Injection Moulding / Plastic sales experience
  • Good communication skills and excellent telephone manner
  • Commercially aware with the ability to be self-motivated and work well under pressure
  • Must be able to speak with clients at a technical level and to be able to discuss their requirements in detail
