Business Development Manager

We're recruiting a Business Development Manager for a well-established thermal engineering specialist, helping reduce costs and carbon emissions through thermal-process optimisation and heat-recovery systems across the Food & Beverage and FMCG industries.

Package:

  • £65,000 to £75,000 Starting Salary
  • £15,000 Company Bonus
  • £7,000 Car Allowance

Location:

  • Homebased in the UK
  • Client Visits in the UK

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and win new opportunities across factories with thermal processes.
  • Build customer relationships and develop compelling technical proposals.
  • Present value propositions focused on cost savings.
  • Generate early-stage concepts for heat recovery and process optimisation.
  • Work closely with process engineers to refine technical solutions.
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK (occasional international visits).

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in business development or technical sales
  • Knowledge of industrial thermal processes (heat recovery, thermal oxidisers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of heat transfer (water, steam, thermal oil, etc.)
  • Ability to translate process data into technical and commercial solutions

An engineering qualification is preferred but not required.
