Job Description

Business Development Manager, UK

Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for high-reliability semiconductor solutions? Join Teledyne e2v HiRel Micropac and play a key role in expanding our presence across the aerospace and defense market.

In this position, you will drive revenue growth by developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and helping customers apply advanced semiconductor technologies to solve real-world challenges. You will work closely with sales, marketing, technical teams, manufacturer representatives, and distribution partners to grow market share and exceed business objectives.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for high-reliability semiconductor products.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across the UK market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and manufacturer representatives.
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer needs to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations to customers.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, and revenue plans.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to align customer requirements with product offerings.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments.
  • Mentor and support sales partners and less experienced sales professionals where appropriate.

What you need

Required

  • Strong business development, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and manage complex customer engagements
  • Experience identifying and converting new business opportunities
  • Semiconductor industry sales experience (5+ years)
  • Experience with analog, RF, or power semiconductor products
  • Experience selling into aerospace and defense markets
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
