Location: UK | Remote with Travel
Join an internationally recognised renewable energy technology business that has spent nearly two decades developing market-leading solar and energy storage solutions. With a strong global presence and a reputation for innovation, the company is investing heavily in the UK market and is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of its Energy Storage Systems (ESS) division. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding the adoption of cutting-edge hybrid inverter and battery solutions across the residential and light commercial sectors.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing new business with solar installers, distributors and EPC partners across the UK.
- Building long-term relationships and expanding an installer partner network.
- Delivering technical product presentations and solution-based sales proposals.
- Representing the business at industry events, trade shows and customer demonstrations.
- Working closely with technical, marketing and operations teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Managing your sales pipeline, identifying market opportunities and contributing to the company's UK growth strategy.

What we're looking for:
- 3+ years' experience in business development or B2B sales within renewable energy, solar, battery storage or electrical products.
- Strong knowledge of residential ESS technologies and the UK solar market.
- Existing relationships within the UK installer network would be highly advantageous.
- Ability to communicate technical solutions in a clear and commercial way.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for the energy transition.
