Contract: 5 Years

Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

About GB Trade & Logistics

GB Trade & Logistics is expanding its international business operations and establishing a new consumer and commercial product brand in the United Kingdom.

We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of the UK market launch and build a strong B2B sales and distribution network across the country.

This is not a traditional sales role. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the market, developing distribution channels, generating orders, and driving revenue growth from the ground up.

The Role

As Business Development Manager – UK, you will take full ownership of the brand's commercial development across the United Kingdom.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing the UK B2B sales strategy.
  • Establishing and positioning a new brand within the UK market.
  • Driving sales of energy storage solutions and power products, including batteries and related product categories.
  • Developing sales of electrical and consumer appliances across appropriate B2B channels.
  • Identifying and onboarding distributors, wholesalers, dealers, and strategic business partners throughout the UK.
  • Building and maintaining a nationwide distribution network.
  • Generating and converting B2B sales opportunities and securing purchase orders.
  • Managing the complete sales cycle — from prospecting and negotiations through to order closure.
  • Developing relationships with retailers, distributors, wholesalers, corporate buyers, and commercial customers.
  • Working closely with our UK & Ireland distribution network to facilitate product availability and order fulfillment.
  • Expanding the brand's market presence and customer base across the country.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and commercial opportunities.
  • Taking ownership of sales targets, revenue generation, and overall business performance.
  • Preparing regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
