Position Description
We are seeking BD Managers to join our team in the United States and the UK. This role involves technical sales, market development, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about biotechnology and ready to take on the challenge of driving our business forward in the U.S. and UK market.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion & Sales Management:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Expand market share and drive business growth in the U.S. and UK.
- Provide technical support and sales of Cyagen’s products and services.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize sales strategies and improve overall performance.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Actively listen to customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and gather feedback to improve services and products.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry dynamics.
- Collect and analyze market data to support decision-making.
- Participate in the development of marketing plans to enhance brand awareness and market influence.
- Team Collaboration & Project Management:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
- Participate in the launch of new products, including market promotion and customer training.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the company and sales department to ensure efficient execution.

Requirements
- Education: Master's degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales or technical support roles within the biotechnology industry. Exceptional Ph.D. graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with cell and gene editing techniques, strong understanding of cell biology and gene expression regulation, and familiarity with animal model experiment.
- This role is a customer-facing position and requires at least 50% travel.
- Others:
- Strong problem-solving and goal-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in English; ability to communicate fluently with clients and team members.
