Business Development Manager - Environmental Solutions

Location: Home Based (UK)
Salary: Competitive + 30% Bonus + £500 Monthly Car Allowance
Travel: Regular UK-wide client visits

The Opportunity

We're partnering with a leading environmental services and infrastructure solutions business to appoint a Business Development Manager focused on developing and growing relationships across some of the UK's largest construction, engineering, and infrastructure clients.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded account management professional who understands the construction and engineering consultancy market and has experience working with Tier 1 contractors, major infrastructure programmes, or leading engineering consultancies.

The role is predominantly home-based, however successful candidates should be comfortable travelling nationally to meet customers, develop relationships, and identify opportunities for growth.

The Role

Reporting into senior commercial leadership, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of strategic key accounts, ensuring exceptional client delivery while identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and revenue streams.

This is an 80% account management / 20% new business role, focused primarily on growing existing relationships whilst actively identifying and securing new opportunities within your customer portfolio and wider market.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
