Value-Added Services/Solutions Manager
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field-based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and also remotely, covering South-East England.

What You'll Be Doing
Being ‘on the road’ for four-days of the week, you will work take ownership of a region within the UK in order to support the UK business in delivering disproportionate growth across our diverse solutions portfolio.
You will be one of our main people in supporting the Sales teams to win opportunities for providing our diverse solutions, especially within the Inventory and Procurement portfolio, by bringing subject matter expertise to the solution design and supporting the Account Manager across the customer journey.
Beyond this you will also be coaching the Account Management team in all aspects of the solution value proposition and the associated solution design. Working with Sales Leaders to ensure high quality customer discovery for all solution opportunities and support accelerating solution opportunities through the sales pipeline.

What You'll Bring
- You enjoy working with a wide-range of stakeholders within MRO businesses with the aim to identify and gain a 360 understanding of their challenges, in order to provide them with best-in-class solutions.
- Having a genuine interest in assisting customers’ in achieving their goals and objectives.
- You are a skilled account manager and have a background of experience in the use of consultative solutions-based sales techniques.
- By taking a consultative approach, you are skilled in influencing a customers’ perspective by building value in the mind of your customers in order to develop a competitive advantage.
- You have a demonstrable track record of creating customer need and proactively driving opportunities, rather than responding to them.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to develop and set your own agenda who enjoys working collaboratively with different teams in a regional field-based role.
Not ‘must-haves’ but would be especially great if you also brought
- Continuous Improvement qualifications and / or experience.
- Experience of working in a B2B environment such as industry, industrial distribution, logistics or business services sector.
- A strong background of value selling.
- Business process mapping and optimisation.
- Capability in business planning and project management.
