Business Development Manager - Telecoms Location: UK (Hybrid/Remote)
The Opportunity
Fuel Recruitment is working with a client who are looking for an experienced and motivated DWDM BDM to drive the growth of our optical networking solutions across the UK market. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a strong telecoms background and established industry relationships to join a growing business and play a key role in expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and win new business opportunities for DWDM and optical networking solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with telecom operators, ISPs, data centres, enterprises, and channel partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure.
- Work closely with technical teams to develop tailored solutions for customers.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Represent Teligent Telecoms at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

- Proven sales experience within DWDM, optical transport, fibre networks, or telecom infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of carrier and enterprise networking environments.
- Established contacts within telecom operators, ISPs, data centres, or network providers.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive business growth.
