Your Role:
As a Vice President within our client’s Business Development team, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating our client’s growth across UK clients within our client’s marquee and enterprise customer segment. You will bring a proven ability to navigate complex client organisations, engage senior stakeholders, and execute enterprise sales strategies that create long term value for clients and meaningful growth for our client.
In this role, our client trusts you to make an immediate impact — generating new subscription revenue, building a strong and sustainable pipeline, and expanding existing client relationships in close partnership with our client’s Client Engagement colleagues.
You will be at the forefront of our client’s go to market efforts across UK-headquartered marquee and enterprise clients, driving demand through targeted outreach, strategic lead generation, executive engagement, and relevant client and market events. This is a highly visible role with real ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how our client grows within one of our client’s most important client segments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you’ll be doing:
Our client will rely on you to own the full sales lifecycle, from first conversation to close — engaging senior decision makers, understanding client priorities, and delivering thoughtful, value driven solutions. You’ll actively develop new business opportunities while also uncovering strategic expansion opportunities within our existing client base.
A core part of the role will be building and executing enterprise account strategies for UK-headquartered, globally active firms. You will identify priority stakeholders, map decision making structures, develop account plans, and coordinate activity across our client’s teams to support progress within large, complex organisations.
You’ll bring our client’s products and capabilities to life, confidently articulating how our client helps clients solve complex challenges in private markets. This includes delivering compelling proposals, running impactful product demonstrations, and acting as a trusted partner throughout the buying journey — whether meeting clients in person or connecting virtually.
You will be expected to manage sophisticated sales cycles, negotiate thoughtfully, and progress opportunities with discipline and pace. Success in this role will require comfort operating across senior buying groups, procurement processes, legal and commercial discussions, and multi-threaded stakeholder engagement.
Above all, you’ll be a collaborative force: working cross functionally, sharing market and client insights, and contributing to a team culture that celebrates success and learns from every experience.
What we are looking for:
Our client is excited to meet candidates who bring energy, curiosity, and a growth mindset, combined with meaningful experience in business development or account management within financial services, alternative investments, data, analytics, or B2B SaaS environments.
You will have a proven track record of delivering results with strategic, or Tier 1 client relationships — including experience developing account strategies, engaging senior stakeholders, and navigating complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers and influencers.
You understand how to create long term value for clients, identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and translate client priorities into commercially compelling solutions. Experience working with globally active clients, or accounts with international stakeholder groups, would be highly relevant.
You’re commercially savvy, analytically strong, and naturally detail oriented. You enjoy solving problems, take ownership of outcomes, and bring a disciplined yet flexible approach to managing priorities. Just as importantly, you care about being a great teammate — building trust quickly, collaborating openly, and contributing positively to team momentum.
Fluency in English is required. Strong proficiency with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with technology more broadly will help you thrive in this role.
