Business Development Manager
Beauty | Salary up to £36,000 + Commission of up to £20,000! | Cardiff, South West Region
Location: Cardiff / South Wales / Welsh Border / South West Region
Salary: Up to £36,000 basic salary + generous performance bonus of up to £20,000
OTE: Up to £56,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday

About the Role as Business Development Manager
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Manager to join a fabulous global and growing beauty brand and help take the business to its next stage of growth.
You will take ownership of business development across Cardiff and other areas by identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with beauty professionals and growing revenue across new and existing accounts.
This role would suit someone with experience in Business Development or Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Aesthetics, Hair, salons, spas, wellness, retail or FMCG, although strong B2B sales experience from another sector will also be considered.

What We Offer
- Up to £36,000 basic salary, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities across beauty establishments.
- Proactively generate leads through networking, referrals, prospecting, events and social selling.
- Arrange and conduct meetings, presentations and product demonstrations.
- Build compelling commercial proposals and negotiate new partnerships.
- Successfully convert prospects into long-term customers.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling and additional product ranges.
- Understand each customer's commercial objectives and create tailored growth plans.
- Regularly review account performance and identify opportunities for further development.
- Take ownership of your sales territory and pipeline.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Attend industry events, networking opportunities, exhibitions and brand activations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts and reporting.
- Work closely with marketing and wider commercial teams to support campaigns and new product launches.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Naturally commercial and motivated by achieving targets.
- Confident approaching and winning new business.
- An excellent communicator and relationship builder.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage their own diary.
- Passionate about beauty, cosmetics, skincare, aesthetics or the wider beauty industry.
- Confident using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
- Happy working in a field-based role with regular travel.
- A full UK driving licence holder.
