BlueKong Networks is an international technical engineering services provider delivering end-to-end next-generation IT and network services. The company offers accredited, experienced professional services worldwide, with in-country technicians and local storage that reduce travel costs, headcount, and infrastructure risk. Its model provides an extended global arm of on-the-ground technicians to enhance coverage, improve performance, and ensure continuity for clients. With over 2,000 technical engineers across EMEA, Asia Pacific, and North America, BlueKong supports multi-vendor environments, including Cisco, HP, Dell, IBM, Wi-Fi, and Juniper. BlueKong delivers full lifecycle services from survey and staging through installation, decommissioning, and certified equipment destruction, working closely with partners to extend client coverage.
Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Theale, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth across BlueKong’s global IT and network services portfolio. - Prospecting and outreach
- Preparing and delivering client presentations
- Responding to RFPs/RFQs
- Developing tailored proposals in collaboration with technical and operations teams
The Business Development Manager will manage a sales pipeline, negotiate commercial terms, and support deal closure while ensuring a smooth handover to delivery teams. The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine go-to-market strategies and support long-term account development.
Qualifications
- Strong business development, sales, and account management skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
- Experience in IT, networking, or technical engineering services, with the ability to understand multi-vendor infrastructure and service offerings.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple levels.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and basic sales reporting, with solid organizational and time-management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with global teams and clients across regions.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in international or multi-region business development is highly beneficial.

- Starting salary £30,000 per annum
