Business Development Manager – Managed IT & Cloud Solutions

Location: Chorley / North West (Hybrid with client travel)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

Are you a hunter who loves winning new business, but hates being dragged down by ongoing account management?

We are recruiting for an award-winning, £100m+ turnover Connected Cloud & Managed Services Provider seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join their North West hub.

This is a pure net-new logo acquisition role focused on the 35–350 user SMB and mid-market segment. You won't carry day-to-day account management, renewal, or QBR responsibility once newly won customers are onboarded—leaving you free to focus on what you do best: prospecting, closing, and earning.

What You’ll Do

  • Win New Logos: Target 35–350 user businesses across the North West, with a strong focus on professional services and knowledge-led sectors.
  • Lead with Solutions: Sell high-value Managed IT, Modern Workplace, Microsoft 365, Azure, Cyber Security, and Cloud propositions.
  • Build Pipeline: Work closely with an active internal SDR team while proactively generating self-sourced opportunities via outreach, networking, and partner channels.
  • Drive Commercial Value: Conduct consultative discovery, run structured qualification (MEDDPICC), and manage opportunities from initial outreach through to proposal and handover.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
