Remote Business Development Manager (12-Month FTC)
UK | Home-Based | Financial Services
We're supporting a well-established UK financial services business in the search for a Remote Business Development Manager to join its investment distribution team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based remotely, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of adviser relationships, helping to drive new business growth across the intermediary market.
This is an excellent opportunity for an investment sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing business plans and identifying new opportunities within the IFA community.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of Distribution, you'll be responsible for managing and growing relationships with financial advisers through a combination of telephone, video and occasional face-to-face engagement.

Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing business development plans to generate new investment flows.
- Building relationships with adviser firms and platforms across your territory.
- Identifying new commercial opportunities and strengthening existing partnerships.
- Gathering market intelligence and competitor insights to support business strategy.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure positive adviser and customer outcomes.
- Contributing to wider team initiatives and supporting continuous improvement across the business.
About You
We're keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:
- A successful track record in investment or wealth management distribution.
- Strong knowledge of the UK intermediary market and adviser landscape.
- Good technical understanding of investment products, ideally including onshore investment bonds.
- Knowledge of bond taxation and trust-based planning solutions.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
- The ability to work independently whilst managing a broad range of adviser relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Awareness of the UK regulatory environment, including Consumer Duty.
