Workplace Interiors Studio Seeks Business Development Manager

A workplace interiors studio of an international architecture firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. The studio focuses on workplace interiors (tenant improvement and fit-out projects for corporate occupiers in the legal and finance sectors) and has the portfolio of work, talented team members, and structural foundation to support growth, but just needs the right person to step into the role and own that process.

This new, strategic role combines outward-facing networking, strategic planning, and collaboration with internal teams to influence the studio’s positioning, client relationships, and market presence.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment.

This is an opportunity to help shape the direction of an established studio with a strong design pedigree. You'll take the lead on new business generation - identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and winning work - while the studio's design leadership remains focused on delivery.

What We Are Looking For

  • A proven track record of winning commercial workplace or interior design projects
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and ownership over your own pipeline
  • Background from either a traditional architecture/design practice or the design & build sector
  • Confident representing a business at a senior level, without needing to be involved in staffing or design decisions
  • Someone thinking beyond transactional wins; invested in helping build a team and a culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
